How to Make a Rewilding Stick (and Be Able to Plant 500 Trees per Hour)

In this video, I go into detail about how to make a Rewilding Stick. You just need a few simple tools and a hollow metal walking stick to convert into a Rewilding Stick.

Tips on How to Use a Rewilding Stick

How we use the Rewilding Stick can vary with the type of soil, whether the soil is dry, wet, or muddy, heavy or light. It can depend on the size of the seeds we are planting and so on. For example, planting in muddy soil needs a different technique than planting in fairly dry soil. Therefore using a Rewilding Stick definitely a skill and we develop that skill the more we use the stick. In the beginning it is good to start with one or two types of seeds and try these out in different planting conditions, then get more adventurous as we gain experiences. The main thing is to learn to use the stick in such a way that as to make sure that the end of the stick does not get blocked, such as with mud, and know the easy ways to clear it.

I hope you found these videos helpful and that they encourage you to have a go at making and using your own Rewilding Stick. If you are not so good at DIY type things, perhaps you can persuade a friend to make one for you.
